Incredible quantities of Blue marlin have been raised in these waters, with double headers, triple and even quadruple strikes, for example, this year (2006) five boats trolling raised 38 Blue Marlin in one day. Big eye tuna and yellow fin tuna are always present in May, June and July.

If you are a serious tuna addict the opportunities are endless. Last year, due to the numbers caught, boats were often tagging & releasing these hard muscular fighting tuna in excess of 100 kilos.

Stuart Campbell, with his boat Chunda, has gained many of his numerous world records for Blue Marlin, Spearfish and Tuna over the last few years during May, June and July in La Gomera.
