What can I say as we are romping away with our Billfish catches.
We had another wonderful experience of a Blue Marlin estimated at 220 kilos / 492 lbs being Tagged & released.
WELL DONE TO ANGLER TOM NEWTON FROM ESSEX ENGLAND.
Puerto Rico competition / DORADO WINNERS

The Marlin tournament held in Puerto Rico on the 22/23 & 24th July Was won by Dorado Boat
We achieved

1st Place Biggest Fish
1st place 50lb line class
1st Place Ladies Section
1st Place International team anglers
( Britannia rules the waves)
Dorado was overall WINNERS
WELL DONE TO DORADO SKIPPER & CREW
SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS TO HEATHER RIMMER FROM Cumbria England who played a 200 kilo Blue Marlin on 50lb Line and won the line class and also the ladies section.

Yet another excellent days fishing as we Tagged & released another Blue Marlin.
WELL DONE TO ANGLER HELMUT BECKMANN FROM DAMME GERMANY
The Blue Marlin was estimated at 230 kilos/514lbs.

Well what can we say except that the fishing has been excellent over the last couple of weeks
Both boats have been catching Good size Bonito Tuna, Dorados, Wahoo.
The Spearfish are still showing in good numbers and we have had some good catches.
We have also had a Nice White Marlin
Also the Blue Marlin have given us some fantastic sport.
What a season this is proving to Be.
This week 22nd / 23rd & 24th July is Puerto Rico fishing tournament so lets hope we have some good catches and can get in the prizes this year again.

A private charter of anglers from Sweden had a good days fishing and Tag & Released a Blue Marlin

We had a nice catch of a Wahoo of11.5 kilos /26lbs
Also Richard Jackson from Poole England played a Blue Marlin of estimated weight of 100 kilos/210lbs to Tag & Release.

Good day of Dorado catches

Well done to all on board the boats with your catches of Dorados.
Best fish was caught by Sue Lobban from England with a nice Dorado of 20 kilos / 45lbs.

We had a good days fishing and a angler from Essex London had a Spearfish of 25 kilos/ 52 lbs
Also unfortunately we lost the fight of a big Blue Marlin which we estimated of a good size of 350/400 kilos.
