(it was due to server problems but all OK now)
Friday 25th March 2005
During this winter season of bottom fishing we have been the only boat to have had Billfish with our 3 catches of Swordfish. Along with this both boats have had some excellent catches of Thresher Shark up to 105kilos /235 lbs and some good size Mako Shark and Blue Shark this week 22/03/05
Also we have had some excellent catches of hake of which we already hold one of the EFSA records.
With the Ray fishing well you anglers out there many records could be broken in our waters.I noticed in one of the UK fishing magazines that the UK record for Eagle Ray was 104lbs we have exceeded this on more than one occasion this winter Eagle Rays of at least 300lbs and Sting Rays up to 400lbs.Some days we have had up to 20+ strikes.
So you fishing clubs and Anglers out there think about joining us during our bottom fishing season for that fish of a lifetime.
