WELL DONE TO DORADO - YET ANOTHER BLUE MARLIN.
THE FISH WAS APPROX 220 KILOS/490 LBS.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ANGLER - PAUL KOFTE FROM HOLLAND.
CAVALIER HAD AN UNFORTUNATE DAY AS THEY HOOKED A BIG TUNA ON LIGHT TACKLE AND UNFORTUNATELY AFTER A 2HOUR + FIGHT THE BATTLE WAS LOST. AS THEY SAY

WELL DONE TO THE CREW OF DORADO ON YET ANOTHER BLUE MARLIN. ALSO CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ANGLER.
THE BLUE MARLIN WAS ABOUT 180 KILOS/ 400LBS.
well done keep up with the good fishing.

MONDAY 20TH
Monday proved a good day for Cavalier with a nice Mako Shark
WEDNESDAY 22nd
Dorado had a good sized Spearfish of 35kilos / 78lbs Well done to Angler Paul Kofte from Holland
Cavalier Tagged and Released a Blue Marlin of 150kilos / 335lbs Well done to Angler Chris Smith from England.
SUNDAY 26th
Well done to Dorado on yet another Spearfish about 30 kilos / 67lbs
Well done to Cavalier on yet another Mako Shark which was released.
ThIS WEEK'S FISHING UPDATE
Monday 20th June 2005
Friday 10th June Cavalier Released a Blue Marlin estimated 260kilos / 580 lbs - Well done to Angler and crew of Cavalier.
Saturday 11th June for both boats only produced smaller fish - Bonitos & Dorados.
Sunday 12th June Dorado had a Marlin approx 215 kilos / 480lbs Well done to angler & Crew of Dorado.
Monday 13th June:-
Dorado had Blue Marlin approx 180 kilos/ 400lbs
Well done to Angler 17 year old Hannah Gower from England it took Hannah approx 35mins to play this fish.
Cavalier had a spearfish of approx 35kilos/75lbs
Well done to angler Paul Janes who played the fish on his own stand-up tackle.
Tuesday 14th Wednesday 15th Both boats raised billfish but like all the game boats hear Not one fish would take. That's fishing unfortunately.
Thursday 16th - Well done to Cavalier and Angler Paul Janes on the 3 Good size Dorados (Mahi Mahi)
Friday 16th - Again Billfish raised
Saturday 17th - Cavalier had a Spearfish 30kilos/67lbs well done to crew and Angler Mark from Wales UK.

Sunday 19th June 2005
After a previous week of successful fishing for both boats on Sunday 19th June Cavalier starts the ball rolling with a Nice Blue Marlin of approx 190 kilos / 425 lbs.

ALMOST A 1000 POUNDER - BLUE MARLIN

Well done to Erich Peinter from Zwettl Austria
on his Blue Marlin today Thursday 9th June 2005
Erich had a battle to remember with this Blue Marlin which was 394 kilos/ 881lbs. The Marlin was brought in as it was thought to a a 1000lbs and this would have put Erich in the 1000lbs club at IGFA. It was not to be the fish was 4.25 meters in length and its girth was 1.84 meters.
Erich played the fish with skill for 1 hour 20 minuets on 130lbs tackle.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CREW OF DORADO AND ERICH.
TROLLING AGAIN FOR THE GAME FISH

On our 1st day back trolling Thursday 2/06
Dorado Tagged and released a Blue Marlin of 170kilos / 380 lbs.
The successful angler was Bengt Enequist from Sweden. The fish was caught on 8olbs tackle and the play took 12 minuets. Congratulations to Bengnt from the staff & Crew of DORADO.
