CONGRATULATIONS TO LARS BROSTIGEN

well done to Lars Brostigen from Norway who was the angler who had the Blue Marlin of 280 kilos on the 14th July which was duly Tagged & released.
Lars emailed me with the details of his trip on board the CAVALIER and he describes it as follows.
I had a fantastic day on the Cavalier on the 14/07/05 with the catch and release of a 280kilo Blue Marlin about 4 mtrs in length , and we had a strike of an even bigger one. Dorados and tuna was also caught. At the end of the day we spotted a Big Shark and tried to hook it with a tuna, but it was not Hungry.

BLUE MARLIN
Friday 15th July 2005
WELL DONE TO CAVALIER ON THE REALEASE OF A 280 KILOS/ 625 LBS BLUE MARLIN YESTERDAY. Also the boat had an encounter with yet another big blue but was unfortunate as it shook the lure on the run. Both Dorados and bonito tuna was also caught.
A Nice days fishing was had by all on board.
Dorado had an unfortunate day and lost the Spearfish they hooked but did have a live catch of Dorado & Bonito Tuna.

WELL DONE TO KAI WRASE

Well during the past week Big Blues have been about in the waters but proving very difficult to catch.
Mostly the catch of the boats this last week has been Bonito Tuna and some good size Dorados.
On Thursday 7/7 Cavalier Tagged & Released a Blue Marlin of 260 kilos / 580lbs. Congratulations to Crew and also ANGLER- KAI WRASE from Hannover Germany.
