DORADO boat has done it again this year first sports boat on Gran Canaria to catch Blue Marlin
WELL TODAY IT HAPPEND DORADO & ANGLER THOMAS DABRITZ FROM GERMANY HAD THE FIRST BLUE MARLIN OF THE SEASON 2006. In keepin with Tradition the first one of the Season is always boated and the fish weighed in at 278 kilos / 620 lbs. The angler had a great play of this Nice Blue lasting about 20 minuets
WELL DONE TO ANGLER AND CREW OF DORADO.

Whats happening with the fishing?

Well before I tell you I would like to Thank Mick Hall and Steve Barnes and Martin for the private charters they had with us over the Easter holidays. It is as always a pleasure to have you all on board our boats.
FISHING UPDATE:-
Bonito Tuna are about , some Dorados have also been seen and 2 Blue Marlin have been raised and lost this week. BIG GAME fishing seems to have started - so watch this space for further upadtes.
Are we in for the Big Ones!

Well since Saturday Bonito Tuna have been showing and usually when we have these in the waters the Big Blue Marlin are not far off. Sunday Dorado had an excellent catch of 23 Bonito Tuna.
If the scholls of Bonitos remain in the waters then it is only a matter of days before that first Blue Marlin will be caught.Last season the first Marlin was Caught in April.

Last 2 weeks fishing update

Firstly I would like to thank our 2 Austrian clients Martin & Christoph for chartering the Dorado for 3 days. It was a pleasure to meet you both.
Well we are still waiting for the Big Game fish so the boats are continuing to do bottom fishing.
This over the last 2 weeks has produced Rays upto 75 kilos / 150lbs,some nice size Sama , Tope and 2 Big Sand sharks around the 100lbs.
