Today was a day of rest for the crews after the Carmen Fiesta on Sunday so Back in action Tomorrow.

This is the 1st year in the last few years that Dorado has not managed to come in the prizes.
DORADO BOAT WAS THE ONLY CHARTER BOAT IN THE COMPETITION TO HOOK UP WITH A BLUE MARLIN AND THEY HOOKED UP WITH 2 - that in itself tells you the quality of the fishing we offer.
On the 1st day we hooked into a nice Blue Marlin and angler John from Denmark who was invited to fish the competition with Heather and Alan Rimmer from Cumbria England played a Blue Marlin excellantly to Tag & Release. This put us in the running. Over 20 Blue Marlin was raised by the boats on this the 1st Day.
The 2nd Day saw at least 15 Blue Marlin raised by the boats entered and Dorado had yet another hook up and with all rods cleared and angler Alan Rimmer in the chair after a short play the fish Jumped and the hook was thrown.
3rd Day Approx 10 Blue Marlin was raised by the boats entered
The Competition was won by a Private boat Black Marlin.

Congratulations to Dorado boat and angler Peter Wilkinson from Stockport England on the Tag & release of a Blue Marlin and also a Spearfish.
Cavalier had a little dissappointment when they hooked into a Blue Marlin with Angler Mick Hall from Birmingham England he managed to play his Blue almost to the boat when the fish jumped and the hook pulled. - Thats fishing !

Monday 24th July 2006
Today saw over 13 strkes of Blue Marlin and Dorado had a dissappointing day Losing 1 Blue Marlin and 2 spearfish.

Well lots of congratulations are in order this week as it has been fishing well.
Mon 17 July Saw Cavalier have a Blue Marlin of approx 240 kilos and congratulations go to angler Werner Volker from germany . Dorado boat had a nice spearfish and congratulations go to angler Dutch Paul who is a regular client also some good size Dorado ( mahi mahi) was caught.
Tuesday 18 July belonged to Chris Miller and Andrew mercer who had an excellent days fishing raising 4 Blue Marlin of which Chris Miller had his Tagged & Released and then Andrew caught his first ever Blue Marlin and decided he wanted to bring it in. It was a good size of 290 kilos/648 lbs. Congratulations to Cavalier and Anglers.
Wednesday 19 - A little quieter for the big fish today but Dorado did raise a blue and hook up but unfortunately it through the llure on the run. Thats fishing folks !
Thursday 20th - another quiet day only bonitos caught the big fish sleeping today
Friday 21st Congratulations to John from Denmark on his first Blue Marlin which was tagged & released, but this was not the only one between our 2 boats today we have caught 3 Blue Marlin and 1 Spearfish. Congratulations and well done to the crew.
Saturday 22nd - Big Fish elusive today but we did have a nice catch of bonito tuna.
What a week With some satisfied customers.
WEEKS FISHING UPDATE AND ITS DEFINATELY IMPROVING.

WELL THE BIG GAME FISHING IS DEFINATELY ON THE UP.
MONDAY 10/07 - Cavalier Tagged & Released a 250kilo Blue Marlin - anglers Husband & wife team Anita & Keith Miller. Dorado hooked Blue Marlin which unfortunately was lost.
TUESDAY 11/07 - Dorado boat raised yet another Blue Marlin and was lost on the Run.
WEDNESDAY 12/07 - Dorado raised Blue Marlin on the morning trip and had a double header on the afternoon trip.
THURSDAY 13/07 DORADO - Tagged & Released a Blue Marlin of approx 150 kilos with angler Chris Miller.
FRIDAY 14/07/06 - Dorado Raised 3 Blue Marlin and also caught 2 good size Dorados ( mahi mahi)
SATURDAY 15/07 - Dorado had a strike of Blue Marlin and the yellow fin Tuna where showing.
All in all a improvement on the Big Game fishing so be sure to watch next weeks catches- as I always say Keep on-line and watch this space.
BLUE MARLIN
Monday 10th July 2006
CONGRATULATIONS TO Anita & Keith Miller on the catch & release of their 250kilos / 550lbs Blue Marlin whilst on board the Cavalier.
This Marlin has fulfilled a dream for the couple who are very valued clients it was their last days fishing before flying home that evening.
Marlin up and taking on Keiths Rod but he decided that Anita should be the first of them to catch one. After Anita battling for 15 mins on the 130lbs tackle she decided it was time for keith to take over and with another 15 mins of work the Marlin was to the Boat.
Well now you both have had the experience I am sure you will be back for more next year.
Congratulations to both Anita & Keith and the crew of Cavalier.

Well this week has definately seen a up-turn in the amount of Blue Marlin being raised.
Wednesday Dorado has the 370k/820lbs Blue Marlin
Cavalier raised a Blue on the Tursday
Saturday saw 8 Blue Marlin being raised.
Also along with the Big Blues ,Bonito Tuna and Dorados( Mahi Mahi) being caught.
Anita Miller on board the Cavalier had a Nice size Dorado- which she told me made very nice eating.

Wednesday 5th July 2006
Well done to Dorado Boat and angler Ryan on the fantastic Blue Marlin caught today. Ryan had a super 35 mins fight with the Big Blue which was about 370kilos/ 820lbs.
CONGRATULATIONS TO BOTH ANGLER AND CREW OF DORADO.
