TUNA ! TUNA! AND TUNA

WHAT A DAYS FISHING BOTH BOATS HAVING PRIVATE CHARTERS HAVE TODAY BEEN TROLLING FOR THE TUNA AND GUESS WHAT WE GOT THEM.
WELL DONE TO DORADO BOAT WHO HAD 5 BIG EYE TUNA AND 3 ALBACORE TUNA AND CONGRATULATIONS TO ANGLER
PIERRE MERTEN FROM LUXEMBOURG HAD MOST OF HIS FISH ON LIGHT TACKLE OF 50LBS CLASS.PIERRE SAID TO ME ON RETURN FROM HIS FISHING TRIP THE DREAM TEAM HAVE DONE IT AGAIN.CONGRATULATIONS TO CREW AND ANGLER.
NOT TO BE LEFT OUT CAVALIER ALSO HAD A BIG EYE TUNA AND BONITO TUNA. CONGRATULATIONS TO BRIAN HENDERSEN FROM DENMARK. WELL DONE!
Last weeks fishing Update.
Monday 19th March 2007
Dorado had a good weeks fishing with some good catches of Sierras (tuna family) from the surface rods. Along with the Sierra they had many bream and some good size Rays.
Thursday saw one very excited angler who caught and released a 220lbs / 100 kilo Ray.
Thursday afternoon trip was for jigging and 6 good size Amberjack were caught.
Friday produced some excellent fishing with bream, 5 Sierras (tuna) and 6 good size Rays with one exstatic angler who caught and released a Ray of over 300lbs/136 kilos +.
Cavalier has been out of the water from last wednesday for anti-fouling and its annual inspection which you will be pleased to hear it has passed with flying colours as anticipated.

We would like to Thank angler Mark Nightingale for fishing with us and also Chartering the Dorado boat for Jigging on the Monday 5th afternoon trip.
Mark was unlucky with his catches of Rays and lost some Big ones 150+lbs. But on his afternoon Charter he Had Amberjack and Sierras.
Thank you once again for your custom and we hop to see you again next year.
MARK is looking for someone to share 5/6 days charter with him on the Dorado boat whilst it is Big Game fishing in La Gomera in JUNE. The week he would like to go is the 1st week in June.La Gomera has offerred over the past few years some excellent Big Game fishing For Blue Marlin, Spearfish and Tuna. ( see our La Gomera page)

JIGGING
Tuesday 6th March 2007
Chris Miller from Taunton England had a goos day out on board the Dorado jigging for the Amberjack.
Chris had a productive day and Caught 6 good size Amberjack, 2 Sama and some sierras.
Well done Chris Nice fishing.
