La Gomera fishing update
Monday 21st May 2007
For our clients who are going to fish with the Dorado boat in La Gomera this is the position on the fishing at present.
During this last week Blue Marlin have been raised one of which we were told would have exceeded 1000lbs. They are having the same situation as we are in Gran Canaria the fish are just snatching at the lures as is normally the case early in the season and are therfore not hooking properly. Also They have the Bluefin Tuna,Good size Big Eye Tuna and yellowfin Tuna.
So good fishing opportunities of big fish in Gomera at present.

Yesterday saw it quiet for the big fish .
Today there has been 2 Blue Marlin and spearfish raised so the fish are there.
Although there are scholls of Bonito and Dorado in the waters they are still proving diffucult to catch although we are managing to catch some.
Every day should hopefully see the Big Game fishing improving as we are only at the start of the season.
