CONGRATULATIONS TO CAVALIER

Repeat clients Werner and Sieglinde Volker who regularly fish and have caught many Blue Marlin whilst on board the Cavalier have done it again.
Congratulations to Werner as today it was a Blue Marlin with his name on it. Verner who kept telling us he is 60 years young and Paul Flanner as leaderman also nearing the 60 years proves that you are never to Old to catch that Dream Blue Marlin if you are on the RIGHT boat with the right Crew.This proves that even the gereatrics of this world can still go for challenge of a Blue Marlin.
CONGRATULATIONS to Captain Abraham the youngest person on the boat- Hafid you stay in Gomera we will catch the fish for you! Tight Lines to all

Well whilst I was on board the Cavalier today fishing we hooked yet another Blue Marlin. Unfortunately after the rods being cleared and the angler in the chair the fish went.
As they say they are either hooked properly or Not. Thats fishing folks!

La Gomera Fishing Update

The Big Eye Tuna caught on Dorado Boat in La Gomera on Tuesday 26/06/07 weighed in at a whopping 133kilos / 297lbs A GOOD SIZE Tuna Congratulations to Angler Paul Janes who played the fish on 50lbs stand up tackle.
Yesterday Paul also had another Good day for the Tuna whilst on board the Dorado. They hooked up with another Big Eye Tuna which was estimated at 135 kilos plus at the side of the boat. Paul as ever expertly played the fish on his 50lbs stand up tackle. CONGRATULATIONS ON ACHIEVING YOUR DREAM PAUL- BIG TUNAS.

Cavalier Yagged & Released a 130kilos / 290lbs Blue Marlin . Angler was Chris Smith from England. CONGRATULATIONS TO ANGLER AND CREW.
DORADO had a Big Eye Tuna exact weight I will update you with. Congratulations To angler Paul Janes and Crew.

La Gomera - Blue Marlin

Congratuloations to angler Paul Janes and Crew of Dorado who Yesterday Tagged and Release a 300kilos / 670lbs plus Blue Marlin.
Paul played the fish expertly as ever on 80lbs stand up gear. WELL DONE PAUL and crew of Dorado.
LA GOMERA UPDATE- 2 Blue Marlin
Monday 25th June 2007
after a very quite start to the fishing on Saturday, SUNDAY proved to be a good day.
Angler Paul Janes from England had his 1st hook up on 50lbs stand up tackle but unfortunately he lost the fish. Not Long After anothe Blue Marlin was hooked and this one was successfully played to Tag & Release the Blue was estimated at 150/160 kilos ( 360/370lbs)

Today cavalier had some nice Dorados so the roght bait is in the waters for the Marlin so lets hope for some bigger fish in the next few days.
Dorado commences their charters tomorrow in La Gomera so I will keep you updated as to how it is fishing.

Cavalier had some bad luck today they hooked into a nice Marlin and within a couple of meters from the boat the fish through the hook yet again.
Keep trying lads thats 2 this week so third time Lucky we hope tomorrow - Tight Lines.
Dorado boat is now in La Gomera and starts fishing with its clients on Saturday so the best of luck to crew and anglers - Tight Lines.
I did hear of a private boat out trolling in La Gomera yesterday that caught and released a Blue Marlin.
Bad luck today for Cavalier
Monday 18th June 2007
Cavalier today hooked into a Good size Blue Marlin and unfortunately after a 40 mins battle with Angler Graham Nettleton in the hot seat the fish was lost. Graham fought the fish well but it went down for some considerable time and then well into the fight the fish came up like a rocket out of the water and at this stage the hook pulled out. Bad Luck Graham and Crew.
Everyone on board enjoyed the experience.
La Gomera Update

Blue Marlin has been caught over the last 3 days days and also raised by a private boat was some good size Big eye Tuna so it is looking good for our clients who are going to fish with the Dorado boat who has today left for La Gomera.
Safe Sailing Dorado and I will await reports on your fishing exploits. Tight Lines!
