100kilos/ 200lbs Ray
Monday 29th October 2007
Nice fishing today on board the Dorado with 8 Baracudas being caught on the light spinning rods along with a Sierra Tuna and 6 Rays which were caught and released. One lucky angler today had the big one of 100kilos/200Lbs.
We had to wait but the Rays did bite!
Thursday 25th October 2007
Today both boats had nice catches of Rays even though they took some time in taking the bait but when they did start all the rods starting screaming off with the takes.
Cavalier Had 7 Nice Rays with a Butterfly Ray at 35kilos/70lbs also Blonde, Eagles and Commons ranging in weight from 10 to 30Kilos 20/60lbs.
Dorado Had 9 Rays ranging from 30 to 50kilos 60 to 100lbs and 4 Baracuda.
So a good day out had by all on both boats.

Wednesday 24th October 2007
DORADO today had an excellent day for the Rays with 15 rays being hooked loosing 2 in the play and catching and releasing 13. To Rays where over 100kilos/200lbs+ With Olaf Lauritien from Denmark and an essex Girl having the 2 big ones of the Day. Vili Antilla from Finland had one of the 2 Turtles caught and released. Along with the above catch 5 baracudas were caught and a combination of smaller fish.
CAVALIER today a little quieter for the Rays but still produced a nice 90kilos/180lbs Ray and a couple of smaller Rays 15/20kilos-30/40lbs. Also a combination of smaller fish.

Tuesday 23rd October 2007
Today Dorado boat put to Sea and Cavalier stayed in port.
Dagfinn Furu from Norway was well pleased with his 80kilos/165lbs Ray which was Caught and released and Rosmus Olsen from denmark was pleased with his Garfish. Along with these we had a combination of smaller fish But not our best Ray Day and unfortunately thats fishing folks!

Both boats did the ray fishing today
Dorado boat had a Good size Ray of 100kilos which was expertly played by Andreas Heinsen from Germany and also a a combination of smaller Rays and a Turtle played by our Regular Client Damien Dillon from Ireland who as you will see on the Photo Album has quite a sense of Humour. Wife Ann had a nice Eagle Ray.
Cavalier boat Had 6 rays today of which one was over 100kilos/200lbs and one 80kilos / 160lbs also caught was 2 atlantic Bonito and 1 Garfish.
So a good day out on both boats.

Friday cavalier had an afternoon fishing trip which produced 7 Rays ranging from 10kilos to 25kilos and a combinations of smaller fish.
Saturday Cavalier had a trip for trolling but unfortunately this was not productive.

Today Dorado had a private charter for Trolling and yes you guessed it We raised a Blue Marlin it came twice to the lures but unfortunately did not take that fishing folks.
On the afternoon trip a good night out was had by all on board the boat with one of the rays caught and released being estimated at 100 kilos/220lbs and was played by Terry Noble from Cardiff Wales.Along with the Rays a couple of Turtles had been caught and released and another excellent catch of Baracuda by all on board on the light spinning rods.SEE PHOTO ALBUM for some of the night action shots.
Wahoo Day
Thursday 18th October 2007
Today our charter clients on board the Dorado had 2 strikes of Wahoo of which 1 was caught.

Along with trolling we did some bottom fishing and had a variety of smaller eadible fish.
Good day out had by clients and Thank you for your custom.

This was a trip enjoyed by all we had a very nice Danish Family of 5 on board the boat and Alex fromWales with his Uncle and they all fished very well. This Afternoon trip produced 30 Baracudas caught on Light spinning rods and good size Monkfish Angelshark and Young Christian Svendsen from Denmark was the Champion of the Night with 2 Good size Rays the biggest 110kilos/230lbs which was caught on 50lbs Tackle.
WELL done to all on Board the Dorado Boat.

GOOD Barcuda Day
Monday 15th October 2007
Today a good days fishing was had on board the Dorado See the Photo Album for the days clients proudly showing the catch of barcudas all caught on light tackle. Along with the barcudas a Large Sting Ray was played but unfortunately lost and further small rays were caught and released and a variety of small eadible fish.
