Wow ! a good weeks fishing
Sunday 12th October 2008
Cavalier had the exciting weeks fishing this week with a good start on Monday - with charter clients from the Uk they Caught and released some good size Rays and a small Hammerhead Shark and then went on to catch a Wahoo.
Wednesday was a trolling Day for Cavalier and saw a boat load of Bonito Tuna being caught and a great day our had by all.
Thursday the excitement was still there and Cavalier hooked into 2 Yellow Fin Tuna. Unfortunately one was lost on the run and Angler Dave Adams from the Uk expertly played an 80kilos / 170lbs Yellow Fin to the Boat and the fish through the hook whilst leader was in the Marinero/mates Hand. Bad Luck But well done to Dave on his fight with this excellent Tuna.
Saturday was another Trolling Day and this resulted in 5 Albacore Tuna being Caught. 5 exstatic Anglers who included Keith Miller from the UK and Peter from Holland.
Well Done to Cavalier and all the Anglers this week who enjoyed their fishing experience with us.
DORADO this week continued to Bottom fish and this resulted in some Rays being Caught and released . A lucky Angler caught and released one of 80kilos/170lbs then another one was estimated at 60kilos/ 130lbs and the rest averaged around 30/50 kilos 60/100lbs mark . Along with The Rays some Bream and sierra Tuna were Caught.
An enjoyable week was had by the Clients bottom fishing with Dorado.
Well Done to BOTH boats and extra praise for Cavalier this week with their Tuna Catches.
SOME PHOTOS WILL BE UPLOADED IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS - SO KEEP LOOKING FOLKS!
