Another Big Specimen - 90kilos/198lbs
 Saturday 31st October 2009
Well after yesterdays success of battling with one of the Monster Rays Dorado today produced another Huge specimen of 90kilos/198lbs Sting Ray and it fell to the Rod of Angler Lee Bassill and this was his 2nd ray of the trip. After the Ray running out 100meters of line Lee Fought this Beauty for 15/20minuets and his was shocked at the size! This was Lee´s 1st fishing trip and has wetted his appetite for the Big Game fish during the Summer months. A special Mention has to go to our Young Angler of the Day Noah Arman 8 years old from Sweden who never stopped catching the live bait fish for all on board and was rewarded for his efforts with an Eagle Ray. Several species of Sea Bream were landed on this trip. Congratulations to everyone on Board for another succesful Days Fishing.

Paul a Hotelier and Taxi company owner in Torquay said this Fish is his Personal Best.
Today we had 6 Strikes of various size Rays plus Sierra Tunas, Sea Bream and Silver Fish. The Barracuda where showing around the boat but not Hungry Today. WELL DONE TO THE ANGLERS today on your catches big or small.

Blue Marlin number 44
 Sunday 18th October 2009
After bottom fishing for the past few weeks with some good results with the Ray fishing. This week we had 3 Charter clients wishing to troll for the Blue Marlin + Tuna and once again we have produced the goods for our loyal followers catching 2 Blue Marlin in 3 trips.
Our 44th Blue Marlin of this Season ( which some say has finished) fell to Angler Deiter Kaufmann who fished with his Friends Micheal Oberle, Daniel Fritsch and Micheal Hollenbach from Germany. Although this fish was Dieters 1st Blue Marlin he fought this 210kilos /470lbs Blue Marlin superbly and 20mins later the fish was brought alongside.
Our Last 3 trips trolling has resulted in sightings of Tuna and 2 Blue Marlins Caught. As Skipper Roberto always says the Fish are out there! Lets see what next week Holds with any opportunities to Troll for the Big Game fish.
WELL DONE TO DIETER AND HIS FRIENDS and Thank you for choosing DORADO in your quest for that BLUE MARLIN.
