30 & 31 Saw Rays, Sierra, Kingfish, Barracuda, Angelshark and more

Well on the wednesday 30th December The big Rays did not make an appearance BUT the fishing was good on the light tackle producing Sierra, Barracuda and Kingfish.Also a nice angle shark was caught and released by Matias from Finland.
Johnny Burns from Ireland took Sierra as did Gustaf Salebo and lady Angler Jane Heath from stoke England. Also well done to the Anglers who caught the Kingfish and Barracudas.
Today 31st December Saw some rays making an appearance of a moderate size and well done to the Ray Anglers :-
Andre Bode, Kim Joergensen from Denmark on their Sting Rays and Steve poulter on his Blonde Ray also Emma Routledge on her catch and release of the Turtle and all the other anglers on board for your catches ( Big or Small)

Bluefish(kingfish) Mon28 & Rays Tue 29th

On Monday 28th Irish Luck showed true form when Niall Hogan landed a Bluefish( Kingfish) of 9 kilos/20lbs and finished the day with an Eagle Ray of 30kilos/67lbs.
Today Tuesday 29th - 8 assorted species of Rays where caught.
Well done to the Young Anglers of the Day
Mikkel Vendelboe from Denmark and his younger brother Andreas who between them had 2 Eagle Rays and 1 blonde ray and Sargo fish.
Congratulations goes to female angler Anna Dahlberg from Sweden with an unusual Eagle Rays ( Nearly Black) normally this species are light in colour.
Jean - Pierre Furhiniak from Belguim also took Blonde Rays of a medium weight. Robert Troy from Dublin Ireland had Sargo fish .
Well done to all on board on both days with your catches and my apologies if I have missed anyone and there catches.

50kilo Rays Sat 26th & Sun 27th

Well the Christmas Holidays are nearly Over and on the 26th Best Ray of the Day was to Angler Jussi Talja which was a nice 50kilos / 110lbs. His Mother Jaana was not to be out done by Son when she got into action with a Turtle.
Angler of the Day on the Sunday 27th was Vincent Sprenger from Holland who had a nice Sting Ray of 55kilos/ 120lbs.
Well done to all the other Anglers on thier catches on both of the Days.

Monday 21st and Christmas Day Special

This week due to the Rain and Winds we fished on Monday 21st December and although the conditions were not the Best we still had some satisfied Customers. A special well done to Matt Wickham from the U.S.A on his nice Sting Ray. Barracuda also made a show today. Well done to all.
XMAS DAY SPECIAL - Again not the best of fishing conditions but TOP Angler of the Day was the budding Rugby Player young Toby Johnston from Carmarthen North Wales on his nice Blonde Ray but Dad Jim did well with his Tope. Also well done Dave on his Turtle and all on board with their catches Big or Small.

Last 3 days fishing - nice catches

Although the fishing has been hard over the last 3 days due to the unusual change in weather for this Sunny Island. The Wind and Rain has not deterred these budding anglers from their days fishing. The Big Rays have eluded us but some of the moderate size Rays have shown along with some very good catches of AngleShark, Sierra, Barracuda, Turtles and a nice Skate.
Sorry we dont have photos of all the catches But well done to the Swedish Anglers who seemed to get the Bigger catches on most of the days.

Last 2 Days -Rays, Sierras, Barracudas , Turtles
 Thursday 10th December 2009
After the last couple of days of medium sized Rays , well done to the lady on her Turtle Catch and the Gentleman on the catch of his Bull Ray.Today was a little better with Rays of 40kilos/88lbs falling to Dutch Angler Jan Korevaar who played the fish for 25 minuets on 50lbs tackle. Jan also took Sierra and was pleased with his days fishing.
Erkki Pasanen from Finland had a nice Sting Ray of 35kilos / 75lbs and his wife kept catching the live bait for the clients.
Swedish Trio of friends Caught Silver Bream,barracuda,Turtles and lost Rays and Sierras. Thomas Svensson ended up top Rod of the Trio.

Turtle Mania AND Barracudas

Over the last 2 days Ray Fishing for the bigger species has been slow with only small Rays showing but there are still some specimen Barracudas on live bait. Trigger fish are also putting in an appearance on the light tackle. At the moment we are being plagued with Turtles ( 6 one day and 4 the other) up to 50kilos. For those who choose the light tackle you can catch non stop the Bream.
MONDAY WILL BE A NO FISHING DAY DUE TO FIESTA (NATIONAL) HOLIDAY.

2 Days of 100kilos Rays

Wednesday 02/12/09 A huge Stingray of 100kilos/223lbs was caught and released by Marcel de Jong from Holland. Also Today catches of Sierra and Barracuda featured.
Thursday 03/12/09 Dorado did it again with an even bigger Rays which took 55 minuets to bring this beauty to the Boat. This experience delighted the Angler Lars Hollner from Guttenberg Sweden. Well done to Morten Lossius from Norway on his 18kilo Blonde Ray. Eddy Plu from Belguim got into the act with the Sierra after losing a Wahoo on Live Bait. All on board Today Caught fish so well done to All Anglers

Barracuda sierra rays

The last 2 days have produced a variety of species, with barracuda sierras and a few of the smaller rays up to 50lbs,Silver fish have been plentifull for our young budding anglers, with the odd sierra taking the live bait and the sporadic barracuda, The big rays are a bit tempremental at the moment although a few were lost. lets hope they put in an appearance over the next couple of days.
